~ Strain, Ingrid ~

General Information
Indica Dominant Hybrid - 75% Indica / 25% Sativa
A relative rarity, Ingrid is a cross between the original Royal Cheese strain from the United Kingdom and Hash Plant, both indica-dominant hybrids. keep it from entering the realm of truly potent strains. But it hits fast and delivers a pleasant, sleepy body high fueled by its indica genes. Though not a great daytime choice, this strain is just right for a night spent vegging in front of the TV. The flowers look almost neon green, while the taste is sweet and pungent. Ingrid produces a strong, skunky odor. This strain is pretty much unheard of outside California, so good luck finding it. If you can, it may be useful in relieving insomnia, anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, ADHD, and stomach problems. Dry mouth is likely, while dry eyes and paranoia are possible but less likely. The indica genes are dominant in this plant, but it's unclear exactly how dominant they are; Royal Cheese has a 25:75 sativa/indica ratio, while Hash Plant has a 20:80 ratio. But there are few reliable figures on the relative proportion of these subspecies in Ingrid's genes.

Type of High
Ingrid hits very quickly for an indica. Within short order, a throbbing of blood vessels in the face -- particularly around the eyes and temples -- will manifest as a sign of this strain’s potency. Soon thereafter, a psychedelic mindset may take over, with smokers’ sensory perception becoming gradually distorted. External stimuli like certain sounds or bright lights can seem more intense or interesting than they otherwise might; a sense of time dilation is also commonly reported. Users shouldn’t plan on getting a mountain of work accomplished after consuming this pungent bud. Instead, a dreamy, easily distractible mindset is likely to persist for hours. As such, Ingrid is great for spacing out with some atmospheric music or a mellow movie. The bud can also be a great way to end a long day or week of work, either alone or with some like-minded friends. It should come as no shock that couch lock is a frequent side effect, as is dry mouth. Because of its sleepy, low-energy vibes, Ingrid is best enjoyed after dark or just before bed.
